Your baby’s brain is developing at an amazing rate, so our infant nursery is all about brain development. In our infant program, we teach tummy time for social bonding and physical development and baby sign language to help your child communicate their needs. Your primary caregiver will help your baby progress through important developmental milestones while working closely with you to provide consistency with feeding, playing and sleeping schedules.

Our preschool curriculum is focused on providing your child with a solid foundation in the skills needed for Kindergarten and beyond. The preschool years are a time of great creativity and social growth. Our teachers focus on introducing structure and routine, while facilitating fun activities that develop your child’s language and literacy, math, science, creativity, Spanish and social skills.
Our Pre-Kindergarten program prepares your child for the adventures of kindergarten. Hello, my name is Whitney! I’ve worked in the field of early childhood education for 11 years. I began my career working as a paraprofessional with children and adults with special needs while pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. I decided to change my major after working in an early childhood program as an intern. I very quickly realized that although I had a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of both children and adults, I have a passion for early education.
I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Birth-Kindergarten Education. I have the NC credentials as well as Admin I and II and I’m a Level III Administrator. I have worked in the field as a teacher, assistant director and director. I believe that having experience as a teacher and administrator gives me more insight and makes me a better leader.
Family is very important to me! I have an amazing husband and two beautiful daughters. When I’m not working or attending my daughter’s volleyball or softball games I enjoy vacationing, shopping, playing games and trying new restaurants.
I couldn't be more pleased with my child's teachers and the administration. They are very welcoming every single day! Every time I turn around I feel like another teacher from an older room is saying hello to my daughter by her first name! It makes me know that my daughter is safe and welcomed by all!
We're incredibly happy with the care and service we receive at Foundations. The toddler teachers are FANTASTIC and obviously love these kids a lot. My son has a great time playing with his buddies and teachers all day. I know that we're leaving him in great hands while we go to work.
The teachers and staff are incredibly friendly and it’s obvious they are genuinely passionate about their jobs. The facility is by far the nicest one that we came across in our daycare search. The classrooms are clean, spacious, and full of toys. Our 18-month-old runs to the door every morning when we ask if he’s ready to go to school! We’re amazed that he seems to come home with a new word or skill every day.
