As you explore our childcare and early learning programs, here are some of the most frequently asked questions by parents and families.

We provide childcare and early education programs for children 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Yes, all our schools are state-licensed and regularly inspected to ensure we meet or exceed state standards, including child-to-teacher ratios, staff background checks, safety, and security.

The teacher-to-child ratio in each classroom is dependent on state licensing requirements.

At Foundations Early Learning Center, we adhere to all state standards. Some schools may observe even lower teacher-to-child ratios due to Quality Rated programs.

Yes, we are a secure facility. Our schools feature electronic keypad entry, so only authorized staff and families may enter. Families receive a unique PIN to access the school during business hours. Visitors must sign-in and provide a valid ID prior to entering our school.

We are closed the following days each year: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. If one of these days falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday. In addition, we close one day each year for professional development.

Yes, all classrooms and playgrounds are equipped with security cameras. Families can view the live feed anytime from the lobby or the director’s office.

We utilize the nationally-recognized Creative Curriculum,® an award-winning, research-based approach to early learning. We blend this curriculum with a focus on hands-on, play-based STEAM learning. 

Our teachers are certified by the state and meet or exceed all state licensing childcare requirements. We require criminal background checks through local, state and/or federal agencies and verify educational credentials prior to employment. All teachers are trained in CPR and first aid, and complete trainings in early childhood health and safety. Teachers also complete annual professional development trainings to strengthen skills and keep apprised of the most recent research into early childhood education.

Absolutely. We have an open-door policy, and you are welcome to visit any time.

Yes, we serve nutritious and nourishing meals daily, including breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack -- all planned by a licensed nutritionist. Vegetarian options are always available, and meals are included in tuition at no extra cost.

We take food allergies and dietary restrictions seriously. If your child has specific nutritional needs, please let us know, and we’ll work with your family to create a safe and suitable meal plan.

With the MyFoundations app, you’ll receive photos and videos of your child, updates on diapering, naps, meals, daily reports, and more.

Yes. We offer family conferences twice per year, and encourage additional conferences as needed. Conferences provide great opportunities to discuss your child’s progress, share observations, review your child’s classroom portfolio, and determine learning goals and next steps together.

Yes. We take children outside daily, weather permitting. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. In the event of inclement weather, we plan indoor activities to provide the same amount of physical activity and to promote movement and large muscle development.

Our tuition is carefully determined by a variety of factors, including location, child’s age, and scheduling needs. Please contact the school you’re interested in for tuition rate options.

Find a School

Enrollment starts with a tour. You can schedule your tour online directly from your school’s website. Once you’re ready to move forward, your Center Director will email you a secure link to complete your registration paperwork online. After your paperwork is finalized, simply select your child’s start date!
